Tap tempo and delay time calculator

Tap along or type a BPM and get every delay time in milliseconds. Dotted eighth is the highlighted one, because of course it is.

Tap four or more times. It resets after two seconds of quiet.

The catch: a number in milliseconds is right for exactly one tempo. Drummers don't play exactly one tempo, and that's a feature. If you'd rather the delays follow the drummer all night, DrumClock listens to the kit and sends MIDI clock or a tap on every beat, so the repeats land wherever the drummer goes. Setup notes: delays and arps · Sunday Keys.

Delay times from 60 to 180 BPM

Milliseconds, rounded. Quarter = 60,000 ÷ BPM. Eighth is half that, dotted eighth is three quarters of the quarter, triplet eighth is a third.
